IDC Dive Schedule

CHOOSE A DATE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Dahab hosts four to five Instructor Examinations (IEs) each year. Our course schedule is based on each PADI IE.

The IE dates are decided at the beginning of each year and cannot be changed. We can run courses on alternate dates. However, our schedule is designed such that doing your IDC directly before your IE ensures you are well prepared.

The Emergency First Responder Instructor (EFRI) course takes 1-2 days and can be run before or after the IE. At IDC Dive we generally run the EFRI 3 days before each IDC to allow for some free time before the IDC commences; however this may vary.

In the dive industry we need to be flexible as schedules change due to conditions, customer needs and business requirements. So please be aware this schedule may vary.

DAY 1 = ARRIVE These is time to settle in, get prepared and meet your fellow candidates.

DAY 2-5 = PREPARE Benefit from our preparation sessions.

DAY 6-7 = EFRI Become a EFR Instructor and learn to Teach EFR Primary & Secondary Care, Care For Children and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Courses.

DAY 8 = DAY OFF Relax and fun dive.

DAY 9-19 = IDC Our Instructor Development Course is an intense yet fun-packed course that ensures you become the best PADI Pro you can be.

DAY 20-21 = IE One and half days, with some well-deserved drinks in the evening.

DAY 22 = DAY OFF There is nothing like waking up realizing you are a PADI Instructor then going back to sleep!

DAY 23-25 = SPECIALTY COURSES There is no better way to finish your IDC experience than with a MSDT PREP.
